Introduction: 

My name is Julia Bottarelli, and I’m a junior studying film at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I’m new to the film industry, but I aspire to write and direct my projects. I’m passionate about telling stories with strong female leads, centered around the female experience, and often layered with psychological elements. As a neurodivergent storyteller, I strive to explore perspectives outside my own and challenge audiences to see the world differently.

I’m working to break into the film industry with no connections—only vision, determination, and a love for the craft. I’ve gained extensive on-set experience as a producer and assistant director, and now I’m ready to step confidently into the director’s role.
